We the alumni of Atlantic City High School (ACHS), Atlantic City, NJ have formed a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Tax deductible scholarship organization named “Atlantic City DC Connection, LLC” (ACDC Connection). Our sole goal is to provide scholarship funds to graduating black students of ACHS. We’re a small group of 17 members (some living in Atlantic City and some in the Washington, DC area) giving back to the community by awarding graduating students scholarships to further their education.
Since 2004, we have awarded $40,500.00 to students graduating from ACHS. Our award for 2016 is $5,000.00. Scholarship award fundraisers are held annually in July at the Soldiers Home.
